February, 2006
Joel Kramer, a well-known concert promoter in NYC, attended a Three Generations in Jazz show in 2005, and has contracted the band to be part of his ongoing concert series, "Best and Brightest", with a concert at Symphony Space, 95th and Broadway, Feb. 14, 2006.

Jake and Elwood's Blues Brothers Revue perform a show at River Rock Casino's new theatre, the full 9 piece band rocked the house!

The Hitmen XB, featuring our tribute to the Blues Brothers, perform 2 shows at the Pacific National Exhibition. Good clean fun and no one got hurt, except Jake and Elwood (Tom).

The Three Generations' wildly successful tour to New York, NY, featuring shows in Manhattan (Cornelia Street Party, The Living Room nightclub), New Jersey (Trumpets Jazz Club), and Long Island (Shinn Estates Winery).

Tom starred in "Ghosts In Love", a live radio play, at Van. East Cultural Centre, for a 3 night run.

Tom sang a tune on "Cantata For The King", a national CBC Special that aired in Feb. /05.

The Three Generations of Jazz blew the roof off the Cellar, with lots of special guests including brother Leif and nephew Miles. A concert to remember. A great recording is being mixed, and will soon be released.
Summer, 2004
Tom was co-Musical Director for "Miss Vancouver" at Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance, a theatre school for kids, for the whole summer!
March, 2004
Tom sings character vocals and also landed a principal role on-camera for "Reefer Madness", a Showtime movie musical. Scenes with Anna Gastire and Neve Campbell were a blast!
Summer, 2003
The Three Generations of Jazz is born! Together with his father, Lloyd on clarinet, and son, Evan on saxes, Tom is starting a new family band, with regular appearances in the lower mainland and Victoria.

Long live British SaskatchAlbertaToba! The Western Alienation Comedy Hour rides again! The show aired in June 2002, a one hour special on CBC TV, and recieved good ratings and kudos. Once again featuring Tom and his house band The B.C. Buds aka The Hitmen (Nathen Aswell, Shawn Soucy, Lee Worden and Tom) playing Tom's original tunes. The new show was once again shot in front of a live audience at Van. East Cultural Centre, Thursday, June 12, 2003.

Tom composed and produced the music for the national CBC-TV special, "Comedy Night In Canada".
March, 2003
Tom has started up a new multimedia company, Spirit Media, with his partner in crime, Shawn Soucy. They will focus on video production and editing, web design, and graphic design.

Tom was Vocal Coach and Choral Coordinator for the hit feature film "Elf", starring Will Ferrell, which airs Christmas 2003. Tom says Will is a very nice guy...
Tom toured with the musical "Red Rock Diner" to Victoria, Kelowna, Vancouver, and Calgary. Great reviews in the Victoria Times-Colonist and Vancouver Sun.
The Hitmen performed
at First Night West Van, a huge beach party. Fun was had by all. Hope
they got the sand out...
We now have an expanded version of the group, Hitmen XB, featuring Azuure
Joffre on vocals, Karen Graves on Sax, Ross Gregory on trumpet, and Jose
"Pepe" Danza on percussion. A high energy dance/showband! Check

Biography
As Bandleader/Entertainer Tom leads (or co-leads)
Hitmen and Hitmen XB (Young Presidents' Ass'n, First Night West Van)
a Top 40/50's thru 90's showy dance band;
Nightswing (Canada Day at Canada Place, Emily Carr 75th Gala at Commodore
Ballroom, Pender Harbour Jazz Festival) featuring swing, jazz and blues
standards;
Jake & Elwood's Blues Brothers Revue (Canada Day in Surrey, Labatt
Briar, tours to Oregon, Wash. and California);
Showstoppers (Peace Arch Hospital Gala, Truck Loggers Convention,
Armed Forces tour to Cambodia), a variety show.Tom was a featured artist
at the Pender Harbour Jazz Festival with his trio which included Rene
Worst and Bill Coon.
Tom is a Pianist/ Vocalist who is well known to event planners
and banquet staff at all of Vancouver's major hotels. From opening for
the Commodores with a jazz trio to singing the U.S. National Anthem for
3000 delegates at Canada Place, has performed at a variety of private
and special events.Tom played 5 nights a week at Umberto Mehngi's Circolo,
1116 Mainland St. in Yaletown, every winter for the past 3 years.
Tom was Musical Director for The Rocky Horror Show. Red Rock Diner,
and Cheatin' Hearts (Jessie Nomination) at Arts Club Theatre, Forever
Plaid at the Starlight Theatre, and All Grown Up at Richmond Gateway Theatre.
Stage credits in Vancouver include the roles of Tommy in Brigadoon and
Lt. Cable in South Pacific for Royal City Musical Theatre, Billy in Carousel
at Theatre Under the Stars, and Roy in A Closer Walk with Roy Orbison
at Richmond Gateway Theatre.
As Arranger/ Copyist Tom can satisfy your musical needs. If you require musical arrangements and transcriptions, Tom can arrange any tune for any size band.
Tom composed or co-wrote all the music featured on the CBC Special
The Western Alienation Comedy Hour, numerous tunes on his debut CD The
Turning, his original children's album Real Live Music (nominated for
a West Coast Music Award), and his songs have been recorded and performed
by Charlotte Diamond and Fred Penner. Tom co-wrote with his
father Lloyd Arntzen the children's musical Cinderella In King Arthur's
Court. Tom has written music for the films Double Lo-Fat Latte, The Touch,
The Stories Inside and Searching For Balance.
As a Studio Musician ,he has played keyboards and sang on sessions
produced by Kat Hendrikse and Michael Conway Baker for the Nostalgia Network
in the U.S. and for feature films. Vocal studio sessions include work
with Miles Ramsey, Wave Productions, Koko, and Tom Keenlyside.
As an actor, Tom
has appeared in numerous TV ads, and has sung, written, and produced TV.
and radio jingles aired in Canada, the U.S., Japan and New Zealand. Stage
credits in Vancouver include the roles of Tommy in Brigadoon and Lt. Cable
