Versatility is the watchword when describing this dynamic show. From the most current Top 40 hits, country, 50"s, 60's &70's classics and R& B to big band swing tunes, Broadway and even Latin grooves, Nightshade can do it all. Whether they're keeping the dancers happy with hip-shakin' versions of current hits or setting a subdued mood in a dining atmosphere, Nightshade adapt well to any function. A wealth of material ensures that this talented act will satisfy even the most discriminating audience.

For extra punch the band is available as an eight- to twelve-piece, with sizzling horn players and another smashing female vocalist. This setup rocks, Nightshade. are: Gina Betts (lead vocals) ; Tom Arntzen (lead vocals, keyboards, blues harp); Jason Fergusen (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Phil Robertson (vocals, drums). Miles Hill (bass). 12 piece SHOWBAND: add Ross Gregory (trumpet); Bill Abbott (sax);Al Guraliak (trumpet); Chris Startup (sax); Peter Juric (vocals and trumpet); Tania Hancheroff (vocals); The two leaders of Nightshade. Gina Betts and Tom Arntzen, are well known to Vancouver audiences. They have played in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Reno/ Lake Tahoe, and Gina has many television credits, including an HBO special. Gina was Klondike Kate for the City of Edmonton in 1995 and 1996., Tom just released his debut CD, and recently finished a record breaking run as Musical Director at the Arts Club Theatre's Red Rock Diner Many references are available for these two talented performers. Gina and Tom's warm and engaging stage presence, together with complete professionalism in all aspects of show business ensures a richly rewarding musical experience for all.
