This high energy revue features TOM ARNTZEN doing spot-on LIVE impressions of Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, and The Blues Brothers. Backed by an awesome eight-piece band, exciting female dancers and great backup vocalists, with a spectacular computerized light show to highlight all the action, Big Tom & Showstoppers will make your party the year's most talked-about EVENT!

The sensational show portion (5O minutes) features Jerry Lee Lewis' killer piano, Buddy Holly's 5O's Rock n'Roll, Elvis' best show stopping hits, Orbison classics and the furious energy of the Blues Brothers. Portraying the characters is Vancouver's own Tom Arntzen. There is no lip-syncing. The show is totally live! While Tom changes costumes, six high energy dancers take over, and the talented female singers in the band are featured. Peter York, well-known Vancouver singer, joins Tom onstage as The Blues Brothers close the show, "taking no prisoners."

The fun continues as Jake & Elwood's Blues Brothers Revue provides jumpin' dance music. Pop, R & B, 50's, 60's and 70's Rock and Roll, and even Swing and C&W classics, they're all part of this versatile showband's repertoire. Great dance party songs like "Twist and Shout", "Midnight Hour", "Leave Your Hat On", "Twistin' the Night Away', and the music of James Brown, Ray Charles, The Beatles, Van Morrison, and others will have you shakin' your tail feathers!

Tom Arntzen:
In addition to his formidable vocal, guitar, blues harp and dancing talents, Tom Arntzen is it keyboardist, actor, arranger, songwriter and producer. He regularly performs at all of Vancouver's major hotels and convention centres in shows, weddings and parties with his acts: Nightshade, the Showstoppers, Jake & Elwood's Blues Brothers Revue and the Tom Arntzen Trio He song and played at Expo '85 in Tskuba, Japan; in Pnom Phehn, Cambodia for the Canadian Armed Forces; the Flamingo Hotel, Los Vegas; Hilton Hotel, Reno; Harrah's, Atlantic City; and the Sheraton, Toronto. Tom also regularly works in professional theatre, having played lead toles in A Closet Walk with Roy Orbison, Carousel, South Pacific, and Brigadoon. He is a Jessie Award-nominated musical director of Forever Plaid, Cheatin' Hearts and Red Rock Diner.
