Trio Con Brio (Italian for Three With Fire) is comprised of three of Vancouver's most talented and versatile performers. Three voices that soar with gorgeous harmonies combine with three instruments that set up joyful sounds... festive fun and frolic is the result! Christmas favorites old and new are performed with spirit and verve.

The three musicians play grooves that make your toes tap, with accordion, mandolin, recorder and percussion. Modern, jazzy harmonies with swinging carols like Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Frosty or Winter Wonderland are alternated with the traditional favorites like Joy To the World, Deck The Halls and Hark The Herald for superb holiday entertainment.

Trio Con Brio is dedicated to having fun and involving the audience to clap and sing along with their joyful voices. They can stroll and roam throughout the party, or come equipped with a complete PA to perform concerts in larger venues. Authentic Olde English costumes complete the look. The group consists of Tom Arntzen on Tenor Vocals and Accordion, Gina Betts on Soprano Vocals and Mandolin, and David Adams on Baritone Vocals, percussion and Recorder.

Gina Betts has performed in the top show lounges, hotels and casinos throughout the U.S. and Canada, including Las Vegas and Atlantic City. She has developed a wide range of vocal styles and is equally at home with Broadway, classical, powerful rock songs, jazz standards, or intimate ballads. When Gina sings, it's a show-stopper!

She has garnered great reviews across North America and has numerous TV appearances to her credit, including a national HBO Special, CBC Toronto and CTV Edmonton. Gina has sung numerous jingles for Seacoast Sound in Victoria, Studio West in Saskatoon, and CBC in Regina. In 1993 she toured with The Showstoppers to Cambodia and Thailand. Gina is an accomplished mandolin player, and has played at the Regina Folk Guild and in the Vancouver Ukrainian Folk Orchestra. She also plays piano and guitar. She is currently studying voice with Joseph Shore.

David Adams has performed all over North America including "Show Boat","Phantom of the Opera" and "Sunset Boulevard", and three seasons at the Shaw Festival Niagra-on-the Lake.
